Welcome to Suha Dabit Photography, my portrait studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee, where I specialize in maternity, newborn, children, and family photography for families throughout the greater Nashville area.
Every session is thoughtfully created with a balance of timeless portraiture and genuine connection. I use both natural and studio light to create everything from beautifully posed portraits to the little in-between moments that happen naturally along the way.
For me, the experience doesn’t end when your session is over. I believe your photographs deserve to be seen, held, and enjoyed for generations. Together, we can turn your favorite images into beautiful heirloom artwork and custom pieces that become part of your family’s story.

I’m Suha.
​
I was born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany. My family is Palestinian, and my roots and culture have always been a big part of who I am. In 2004, I moved to Nashville, Tennessee, after marrying my husband, Tommy.
I’m a Hendersonville-based photographer specializing in maternity, newborn, children, and family portraiture, serving families throughout the greater Nashville area. I love creating a mix of beautifully posed portraits and the little moments that happen naturally in between.​​

Photographs have always meant a lot to me, but losing my mom in 2007 changed the way I looked at them. My siblings and I often talk about how much we wish we had more photographs with her. When someone you love is no longer here, you realize just how much those photographs mean and how tightly you hold onto the ones you have.

That is a big part of why I do what I do.
​
As a mom of one teenager and one young adult, I see it from the other side now, too. I look back at their newborn portraits and can still remember the little wrinkles on their noses, their big beautiful eyes, and those tiny hands. And yes, I know, you hear it ALL the time: “It goes by so fast.” It may be the most overused sentence ever, but goodness, is it true.

Moms and dads, please get in the photos with your children. I know it’s easy to say, “Just get the kids,” or to wait until you feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Get in them anyway. One day, those photographs won’t just be for you. They’ll be for your children, too.
​
My photography has also given me the opportunity to tell stories far beyond my own studio. Through my work with my nonprofit, World of Broken Hearts, and working for The Brett Boyer Foundation, I have had the privilege of photographing children and families affected by congenital heart disease. That work has been featured by national media including TODAY, People, ABC News, and others. It is something I am incredibly proud of, not because of the recognition, but because of the awareness those photographs have helped bring to the CHD community.

Whether I’m documenting your growing belly, your brand-new baby, or your family as your children grow, I want to create photographs that feel like you and that you’ll value even more as the years pass.
