A Family Session Close to My Heart

Some sessions mean a little more because of the history behind them, and this was one of those sessions for me.

I have known Salim since he was 15 years old. He was even at my wedding, so seeing him now as a husband and father is incredibly special. He is such a wonderful dad, and he could not have chosen a better wife. Leen is just as lovely as she is beautiful, and together they have created the sweetest family.

Their children, Saleen and JJ, are both incredibly smart and did so well throughout the entire session. They made my job easy, which is always appreciated. Their personalities came through in every photograph, and the connection between all four of them felt completely natural.

Leen also did an amazing job coordinating everyone’s outfits. The warm, earthy colors worked beautifully together without feeling overly matched and complemented the setting perfectly.

We photographed their family session on a beautiful private property in Gallatin, Tennessee. The white fences, open space, and evening light made the perfect setting for portraits that feel warm, relaxed, and full of life.
